REDcap has been returned to normal service. It experienced an unplanned partial outage beginning late Friday, January 24 through 12pm on Thursday, January 30. During this period, users may have found the service degraded at various times.

The University of Oregon is extending its Dropbox service into March 2026. Dropbox users will receive more specific guidance in the coming months, after Information Services and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation form a project team to support the university’s 17-month transition to other data storage services. Microsoft Copilot with data protection is now available to everyone at the UO. Copilot is a generative AI tool, driven by the same engines as ChatGPT and DALL-E. In the protected version, your prompts are encrypted and won't be used to train the underlying AI model.
