As of approximately 4:00pm, we're receiving reports that UO's Canvas and Panopto service is available again. We're still awaiting final confirmation from the vendor that they consider the outage resolved.

UO's Panopto video service—accessed through Canvas—is unavailable due to a major Amazon Web Services (AWS) service degradation, affecting many web services in the U.S.

The "Panopto Video" link in Canvas is currently returning an error message. Other parts of the Panopto integration are working correctly and students can still view videos from links embedded in Canvas pages.

On Tuesday, July 11, Panopto will be unavailable for up to 10 minutes between 5:30pm and 8:30pm Pacific Time while the vendor performs maintenance.
