The University of Oregon is extending its Dropbox service into March 2026. Dropbox users will receive more specific guidance in the coming months, after Information Services and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation form a project team to support the university’s 17-month transition to other data storage services. No immediate action is required. Learn more in OregonNews, on the Future of UO Data Storage webpage, and in the October 21 email to Dropbox users.

Overview

Criteria for updating the service status

The service status will be updated if Dropbox is experiencing a service degradation or outage. As this is a cloud-hosted service, more information about the status of Dropbox is also available at https://status.dropbox.com.
