The cloud hosting provider for UO websites is experiencing an unplanned service degradation this morning. We're receiving reports about UO websites loading slowly and people being unable to log into them. The vendor has identified the issue and is working to fix it.

Websites that are hosted locally with the Drupal Hosting service will be unavailable Tuesday, May 14, from 5:00am to 6:00am. Maintenance is being performed on the database server that hosts the website databases. 

Visitors to the websites during the downtime will be redirected to an outage web page.

However, the vendor reports that affected sites may continue to intermittently fail to load during this recovery period. If you encounter that, try reloading the affected website. About 60 UO websites, including the University of Oregon homepage (uoregon.edu), have been affected by this outage, which began around 10am.
