Maintenance Times

Maintenance times, also known as maintenance windows, are time periods that Information Services staff use to perform regular upkeep on IT services.

  • Daily
    • 1:00–7:00 a.m. Integrated Data and Reporting (IDR) and Data Warehouse will be unavailable during this time.
  • Monday
    • 3:30–7:00 a.m. Network: wireless, switches, routers, and firewalls. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
  • Tuesday
    • 5:00–7:00 a.m. Email, web publishing services, Banner, Dining, Duck ID, Ducks on Track and various other services that are not explicitly listed elsewhere on this page. Expect brief service outages during this time.
  • Wednesday
    • 5:00–7:00 a.m. Network: wireless, switches, routers, and firewalls. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
    • 6:00–10:00 p.m. Duck ID Account Management. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
  • Thursday
    • 5:00–7:00 a.m. Network: wireless, switches, routers, and firewalls. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
      • DuckDocs may be unavailable during this time for application maintenance.
    • 5:00–6:00 p.m. Confluence. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
  • Friday
    • 5:00–7:00 a.m. Network: wireless, switches, routers, and firewalls. Services will be available unless otherwise announced.
    • 7:00–9:00 p.m. Duck ID, Banner, DuckWeb, AppWorx (Automic), Document Imaging, DuckDocs, Ducks on Track, IDR, Data Warehouse. Services will be unavailable during this time.
    • 9:00 p.m. Friday–1:00 a.m. Saturday. The UO Service Portal will be unavailable during this time.

Often, the second weekend of the month is used for maintenance on Banner, DuckWeb, AppWorx, DuckDocs, IDR (Cognos), and Duck ID. This year's Banner maintenance weekend schedule is available in the UO Service Portal.
