Service Description
Overview
- This service consists of a self-service web application at service.uoregon.edu that is used by students, faculty, and staff to find and request technology help.
- This service is also used by IT support staff on campus to respond to IT service requests.
Criteria for updating the service status
The ability for a user to successfully log in and perform actions, such as submitting help requests, within the UO Service Portal at https://service.uoregon.edu.
The Service Portal will be unavailable from Friday, Nov. 7 at 9:00 p.m. to Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1:00 a.m. Pacific Time while the vendor upgrades the Service Portal. The Tech Desk is available for your technical questions until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and again at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Please contact them at 541-346-HELP or livehelp.uoregon.edu. (All times are PT.)
