UO VPN should remain available on Wednesday, August 7, during annual power testing by Campus Planning and Facilities Management (CPFM).

On Monday, July 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., UO staff will be upgrading core network equipment that serves all UO campuses. Staff expect one or more brief network outages lasting about 15 minutes each, and possible network instability throughout the maintenance window. Impacts will be widespread, affecting Wi-Fi, wired networking in some buildings, UO VPN and some specialized network-dependent services.

UO's network experienced a brief broad disruption at 9:08am.

⁠Tomorrow morning (Friday, April 5), from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., UO staff will be performing emergency network maintenance during which people may experience momentary network interruptions.

We've received reports of intermittent network problems at multiple UO locations during the noon hour today (Thursday, April 4). UO staff are investigating.
