We have received reports that Jabber Instant Messaging (jabber.uoregon.edu) is not responding.
The Jabber service degradation was resolved at 12:05pm.
The certificate has been updated. Some users may receive a prompt to accept the new certificate.

Proofpoint spam filtering is currently not working. People are reporting an increase in spam messages in their inboxes this morning. Staff are working with Proofpoint to restore service. In the meantime, please be extra cautious about potentially malicious emails and attachments (phishing attempts and malware). Never click suspicious links or open attachments that you aren't expecting. If you have already clicked a link or opened an attachment like this, it's important to act quickly to limit the damage. The Office 365/OneDrive service degradation was resolved at 10:38am, according to Microsoft. Previously affected UO users are reporting restored functionality. If you continue to have problems, please contact the Technology Service Desk (techdesk@uoregon.edu; 541-346-4357).
The Office 365/OneDrive service degradation may be related to an issue that Microsoft has acknowledged. People who are able to view OneDrive online right now are seeing an alert that says: "OneDrive is read-only right now while we do some maintenance."
UO's Office 365 website (office.uoregon.edu) is experiencing a service degradation. People are variously reporting slowness and/or failures when trying to log in, view shared files in OneDrive online, or create files in Word online. Staff are working to restore service.
