OneDrive and Office 365: update for Monday, 9/12
Late Friday, Microsoft reported that their engineers are working to resolve this issue, which affects educational institutions.
Problem: when logging in to Office 365 (https://office.uoregon.edu), the online apps are disabled and are labeled with "Setting up...".
Workaround to access files in OneDrive: log in to office.uoregon.edu. Next, paste the following URL into your web browser, replacing DUCKID with your DuckID (the first part of your email address):

Some users, when logging in to Office 365 (office.uoregon.edu), see all online apps showing the status, "Setting up...". When you attempt to click the app, nothing happens. We engaged the vendor this morning to resolve the incident. There is a workaround to access your files in OneDrive. First, log in to office.uoregon.edu. Next, paste the following URL into your web browser, replacing DUCKID with your DuckID (the first part of your email address):

We have received some reports that when users log in to office.uoregon.edu, they get a different layout than usual. Most of the online apps listed there are labeled "Setting up...". Staff are investigating the issue. To access OneDrive files, use the list of "Your recent online documents" that is farther down the page.
Wired networking was down starting approximately 9:am. NTS is working on getting it fully restored.
The Jabber chat service has been restored.
The chat service Jabber is currently unavailable. Staff are working to restore service.
The RT (ithelp.uoregon.edu) service degradation was resolved at 12:57pm today. RT was not generating emails sent to @ithelp.uoregon.edu. Fortunately, those messages were queued, and now RT is processing those emails and creating tickets accordingly.
RT (https://ithelp.uoregon.edu/) is experiencing a service degradation. Specifically, it is not generating tickets from email messages sent to @ithelp.uoregon.edu email addresses. The emails are queuing up, but not being processed. Staff are working to restore service. If you have any questions, please contact the Technology Service Desk (techdesk@uoregon.edu; 541-346-4357).
The service degradation was resolved around 12:15pm.
