The UO Libraries website (library.uoregon.edu) will be down intermittently beginning at noon on Sunday, August 18. Service will be restored later Sunday night or early Monday morning, August 19. Catalog searching will remain available through the outage period; see http://blogs.uoregon.edu/libwebstatus2013/ for links.
The library website redesign incorporates high-priority findings from 2012 usability tests. Improvements include
- Clearer terminology and priority of display for high-demand information and navigation features
- Audience tabs with targeted navigation and features for undergraduates, graduate students, faculty/staff, and general public
- Improved visibility for instructional technology services
- Redesigned catalog search with accordion tabs for General Search, Articles, Books, and Media

Between 8am and 3pm on Saturday, August 17, 2013, Information Services will be performing an upgrade on a key, shared storage system. We DO NOT anticipate any interruptions to services. This notice is to advise campus of this project.
Chapman Hall experienced several brief network outages between 8:00 and 9:15 this morning. The underlying issue has been resolved.
Mail sent to 329 customers between 4am on Sunday, 8/10/13 and this afternoon (8/13/13) may have been delayed. Exchange users will see delays in messages sent from non-@uoregon.edu addresses. Users who have their email forwarded to another service will see that all messages sent during that time were delayed.
Mail is currently flowing correctly. Information Services is working to resolve the issue and deliver the delayed e-mail messages.
Voicemail will be unavailable between 6pm and midnight on Friday, August 23. During the outage, campus phone will ring when called, but when the calls is transferred to voicemail, the caller will hear an informational message that the voicemail system is undergoing maintenance and to please call back later.

Information Services will be upgrading the Metrocluster, one of our main storage systems, on Saturday, August 17 from 8am to 3pm. We do not anticipate any service interruptions or outages, however, because this system is key to the operating of many systems, we are providing this notice because, in rare instances, upgrades do not go as planned.
Beginning about 2:35pm today (7/25), Exchange began having problems routing to RT, which is also known as ithelp.uoregon.edu. Staff are working to resolve the issue.
Shibboleth, one of the web sign-on systems, was out of service between 3:52pm and 4:28PM on Wednesday, July 24.
We are investigating issues with Shibboleth, one of the login (sign-on) systems used to log in to web sites on campus.
