A new toggle button in Microsoft Teams allows members of the UO community to switch to the new Teams app while it's in preview mode. Microsoft will switch all remaining UO users to the new version on January 31. Learn more in Around the O.

Starting on Nov. 15, UO Teams users started seeing an "EA" tag on their Teams avatars. Short for "early access," that tag is expected to disappear in the coming weeks.

Microsoft Teams call queues: Earlier today (Friday, October 6), people were having problems with Microsoft Teams call queues, such as being unable to change who receives calls. Those problems have now been resolved.

Microsoft Teams call queues: People at UO who had experienced the following issues with call queues are now seeing those queues return to a normal state. However, Microsoft hasn't yet declared this issue resolved.

• Call queue settings are missing from the Settings menu in the Teams desktop and mobile apps.
• Toggling oneself on or off from the Calls tab of a call queue team doesn't stick. That is, it reverts to its prior state.
• Changes to the call queue membership don't seem to update properly.

Microsoft Teams call queues: Microsoft has acknowledged unplanned problems with call queues in Microsoft Teams. Here's what people at the UO are reporting:

• Call queue settings are missing from the Settings menu in the Teams desktop and mobile apps.
• Toggling oneself on or off from the Calls tab of a call queue team doesn't stick. That is, it reverts to its prior state.
• Changes to the call queue membership don't seem to update properly.

Microsoft Teams call queues: Some people at the UO are reporting problems with call queues in Microsoft Teams. Specifically:

• Call queue settings are missing from the Settings menu in the Teams desktop and mobile apps.
• Toggling oneself on or off from the Calls tab of a call queue team doesn't stick. That is, it reverts to its prior state.
• Changes to the call queue membership don't seem to update properly.

UO staff are investigating.

• Microsoft Teams mobile app: Microsoft reports that it has resolved the problem of some Teams users not seeing all their channels in the Teams mobile app. 
• Microsoft Stream: UO staff have now retired the classic version of Microsoft's Stream video service. Learn more about the new Stream (on SharePoint) experience. More details are available in a July 27 email to UO users of Stream.

• Microsoft Teams mobile app: Some Teams users are not seeing all their channels in the Teams mobile app. This was first reported on Wednesday, Sept. 27. Microsoft is in the process of rolling out a fix, and is expecting this issue to be resolved by Tuesday, Oct. 3. Workaround: Use Teams via the desktop app or web version.
• Microsoft Stream: UO staff have now retired the classic version of Microsoft's Stream video service. Learn more about the new Stream (on SharePoint) experience. More details are available in a July 27 email to UO users of Stream.
