Teams Degradation Resolved: Microsoft declared this issue resolved around 6:30pm on Friday.

Informational: A new toggle button in Microsoft Teams allows members of the UO community to try out the new Teams app while it's in preview mode. A UO-wide switch to the new version will occur during winter term. Learn more in Around the O.

As of 5pm Friday, Microsoft continues to work on restoring Teams functionality. An ability to load messages or media has been resolved, but other symptoms such as delays sending and receiving messages remain.

Microsoft is continuing work into the evening and expects conditions to continue to improve.

A new toggle button in Microsoft Teams allows members of the UO community to switch to the new Teams app while it's in preview mode. Microsoft will switch all remaining UO users to the new version on January 31. Learn more in Around the O.

Starting on Nov. 15, UO Teams users started seeing an "EA" tag on their Teams avatars. Short for "early access," that tag is expected to disappear in the coming weeks.
