Info

Several hundred role accounts that remain on the older Webmail system will be upgraded to UOmail September 3–10. (Several hundred retiree accounts were transitioned to UOmail August 19-21.)

  • Notifications: Information Services sent email notifications to all affected role accounts and their owners on August 15 and August 27. Please refer to those messages for details.
  • Transition overview: The transition process typically takes 2 to 5 days. We will move email to the new system and continue any mail forwards. To check whether an account has finished moving, you can try logging in at uomail.uoregon.edu with the account's full UO email address. If you can log in, the transition is complete.
  • Resources: Visit the UO Service Portal to learn more about Getting Started with UOmail and about common issues when moving from Webmail to UOmail. More information about this project is available on the Campus Email Project webpage and at Oregon News.
  • Tech support: You can submit a ticket at Email and Calendar Help, contact the User Support Services team or other IT team that supports your unit, or contact the Technology Service Desk, a USS service desk with extended hours.
