We've seen some unusual email delays recently. Specifically, people are reporting noticeable delays of up to 30 minutes or so for delivery of messages from non-UO senders, including UO mass emails.

Information Services staff are doing emergency maintenance today to address this.

(Email delivery is never guaranteed to be immediate. However, the current delays are unusual.)

Mailing lists: By about 12:30 p.m. today (Monday, April 21), emails sent through UO's Mailman service (lists.uoregon.edu) that had gotten delayed should have been delivered.

The widespread Microsoft outage reported on Monday, November 25 was resolved by Microsoft around 3:00am on Tuesday, November 26. Microsoft outage, update 4:30pm: Microsoft applications including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Bookings, and SharePoint may continue to be unreliable due to a widespread Microsoft outage. Microsoft's latest internal update shared that their incremental restoration work is ongoing. They're now forecasting services will be returned to normal by 7:00pm today, November 25. Unless something changes significantly overnight, our next update won't be until tomorrow morning (Tuesday, November 26).
