Some Duck ID accounts are experiencing an outage. As of 3:45 p.m. Monday (October 13), Information Services staff are in the process of restoring services. Affected users may be seeing some of their access returning while other services remain in accessible. Other people may not be seeing any service restoration yet.

If you're having account issues, please create a ticket at the UO Service Portal. (The linked page will allow you create a ticket even if you can't log in. Please include your Duck ID username.)

Impacted users may be noticing one or more of the following issues:

  • Unable to log in to Duck ID integrated services, including...
    • UOmail (email)
    • Shibboleth single sign-on services such as Canvas, Zoom, Concur, and more
    • UO's network (VPN and Wi-Fi)
  • Additional email impacts
    • Messages sent to your email address are bouncing back to senders as undeliverable
    • Older messages will be recoverable once your account is restored, but bounced messages won't be
  • Being prompted to register for Duo again
