• UO's Eugene campus community should expect intermittent campuswide network outages on Wednesday, Sept. 6, during power testing by Campus Planning and Facilities Management (CPFM). Network services will typically resume shortly after power has been restored.
• Localized lingering network outages may occur if network devices fail. If so, Information Services staff will post notices here, on the IT Service Status website. Recovery from any such device failures will begin after CPFM issues its all-clear message, and could take a day or longer.

Network services generally recover on their own but may take a few minutes beyond power restoration. In cases where network devices don't recover after such an outage, UO staff must visit affected buildings to replace the equipment.
