Info

The following locations are experiencing lingering network degradations due to today's power testing. Service recovery at these locations will begin after the testing is complete.

  • Whole buildings:
    • Hendricks Hall
    • Building 131 (part of CPFM compound)
  • Parts of buildings:
    • Knight Campus (three locations)
    • Streisinger Hall
    • Lillis (Room 219 vicinity)

The UO's Eugene campus community should expect network disruptions on Wednesday, August 7, during annual power testing by Campus Planning and Facilities Management (CPFM).

  • Expect: Intermittent campuswide network outages. Network services will typically resume shortly after power has been restored.
  • Possible: Localized lingering network outages may occur if network devices fail. If so, Information Services staff will post notices here, on the IT Service Status website. Recovery from any such device failures will begin after CPFM has completed all testing, and could take a day or longer.

Please see the CPFM website for the testing schedule and other details. This work was also announced in Oregon News.
