People in UO residence halls may be intermittently unable to access the wired or wireless networks on Tuesday, Oct. 17, from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., while UO staff continue work on the data center upgrade.

All lingering network degradations from today's power testing (Wednesday, Sept. 6) have been resolved.

The following locations are experiencing lingering network degradations due to the power testing earlier today (Wednesday, Sept. 6). Information Services staff have begun working to restore service in these buildings:

• UO's Eugene campus community should expect intermittent campuswide network outages. Network services will typically resume shortly after power has been restored.
• Localized lingering network outages may occur if network devices fail. If so, Information Services staff will post notices here, on the IT Service Status website. Recovery from any such device failures will begin after CPFM issues its all-clear message (around 1pm), and could take a day or longer.
