UOmail and Teams outage, update 2:30pm: Microsoft Outlook and Teams may continue to be unreliable due to a widespread Microsoft outage. Microsoft has reported making slow progress on restoration throughout the day. Information Services staff are monitoring as Microsoft continues work to repair the issue.

• Teams in conference rooms: Microsoft now requires a "Teams room" license for use of Teams on conference room equipment. (Previously, that was optional.) Without it, Teams will fail to work, displaying the following error message: "Sign-In error. Your current license is not supported on this device. Ask your IT administrator for details." Teams room licenses cost $64.25 per year. You can request one at Microsoft 365 Subscription-based Licenses Purchase Request. Processing takes 5-10 business days.
• Look and feel: You should now be seeing the UO logo and colors in UO's Microsoft 365 web portal at office.uoregon.edu, and on the Microsoft login password screen you use to access Microsoft applications, UO VPN, and certain other UO services. If you're not seeing yellow and green in the Microsoft 365 web portal, you may have a different custom theme selected. You can choose the UO "Organizational theme" by visiting office.uoregon.edu, logging in if necessary, and opening Settings through the gear icon.
