Service Status History

• VPN: UO's VPN services are experiencing an unplanned service degradation this morning. From about 11:00 a.m. to 11:25 a.m., people were unable to start new connections to VPN. After that, people could connect again. However, some people are now reporting their VPN connections being intermittent. UO staff are working on the issue.
• Pages.uoregon.edu and shell server: UO staff are planning to contact about 30 users of UO Pages (pages.uoregon.edu/<YourDuckID>) or the UO shell server who had files added or modified in their accounts on Tuesday, November 12 — specifically, in the 6:04 a.m.–12:25 p.m. window. We will provide guidance about how to access those files.

Previously, people were receiving error messages about an "untrusted server" or "service provider in your current location is restricting access to the Internet." UO staff will continue monitoring the service.
