The service outage affecting some UO printers this morning (Thursday, July 25) was resolved around 9:20 a.m.

Some printers are currently unavailable, as noted below. UO staff are working on the issue.

• Printers that require Duck Bucks, such as in many computer labs.
• Lundquist College of Business printers for faculty and staff.

If any service interruptions occur, they're expected to be minor. However, this work has the potential to disrupt UO services ranging from computer logins to email flow, access to Wi-Fi and UO VPN, and numerous applications. On Monday, July 1, from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., UO staff will be upgrading core network equipment that serves all UO campuses. Staff expect one or more brief network outages lasting about 15 minutes each, and possible network instability throughout the maintenance window. Impacts will be widespread, affecting Wi-Fi, wired networking in some buildings, UO VPN and some specialized network-dependent services.
