On Sunday, Sept. 17, starting at 8:00 a.m., UO staff plan to perform maintenance on a component of the university's email system. That work could delay mail flow for up to 12 hours, until 8:00 p.m. Specifically, it could delay emails between UOmail accounts and non-UOmail accounts inside and outside the university. (Emails between UOmail accounts — that is, between any UO faculty, staff, and student accounts — should be unaffected.)

On Sunday, July 16, UO staff tentatively plan to perform maintenance on a component of the university's email system (timing TBD). UO staff don't expect the work to cause any noticeable impacts. However, it could delay email delivery between UOmail accounts and non-UOmail accounts inside and outside the university.

On Thursday, June 22, from 6am-8am, UO staff will perform maintenance on a component of the university's email system. The work isn't expected to cause noticeable impacts, but it does have the potential to interrupt mail flow throughout that window.

Students who recently switched from Webmail to UOmail and want to keep their old Webmail messages must move them out of Webmail within 180 days of their switch, before losing access to Webmail. For help, please contact the Technology Service Desk. Learn more at UOmail for Students.
