Users at UO and other schools are reporting that the Canvas Gradebook is not functioning correctly for teachers. We have initiated an incident with the vendor. As a temporary partial workaround, teachers can still view grades for an assignment within SpeedGrader. Students should still be able to see their own grades normally.

Users at UO and other schools are reporting that the Canvas Gradebook is not functioning correctly for teachers. We have initiated an incident with the vendor. Canvas was briefly unavailable to some users this morning (Friday, November 22). According to Instructure's status website for Canvas, the vendor first reported the problem at 9:20 a.m. Pacific Time. Within fourteen minutes, Instructure had implemented a fix. 

Canvas experienced a brief, broad outage this morning (Wednesday, June 12). People may have gotten the following error when trying to access Canvas: "This website is under heavy load." The vendor reports having resolved the issue (see the Past Incidents section at status.instructure.com).

An estimated 100 students were not able to log in to Canvas or Community Canvas between 1:30pm and 4:30pm on Tuesday, Feb. 14. The problem was caused by a data load that did not run properly.
