On January 4, Google disabled third-party cookies for 1% of Chrome browser users, part of a longer-term plan to disable third-party cookies for all Chrome users. That interferes with some functionality of UO services. For example, it prevents Duo's "Remember me" functionality from working, and interferes with some functions within the Microsoft 365 suite of services. Google is temporarily allowing affected users to disable the Tracking Protection feature, which allows those functions to work.

UO campus network services experienced an unplanned outage for several hours this morning (Thursday, Dec. 14). The outage was unexpectedly caused by planned maintenance early this morning. For information about other systems that were impacted, please visit the UO Alerts blog.

Mailman: The UO's Mailman email list service (lists.uoregon.edu) was unavailable from about 5am to 10am today (Tuesday, Nov. 28). Messages sent to UO email lists started flowing again around 10am.
