Service Description
Overview
- EMS is used to schedule space for academic and non-academic purposes.
- It runs through a web-based user interface at ems.uoregon.edu and a desktop application for Windows computers.
Criteria for updating the service status
The ability for a user to successfully log in and perform actions, such as viewing or making room reservations.
EMS will be intermittently unavailable from Friday, June 26 at 5:00 p.m. to June 27 at 5:00 a.m. while the vendor deploys a new version release for both web and desktop applications. Make sure you launch desktop EMS from the start menu (as opposed to a shortcut or taskbar) to ensure you get the updated client.
IMPORTANT: A data change last week affected billing and reporting for thousands of events and a rollback to Tuesday night (6/16) was required. Unfortunately, this means that any EMS changes between Wednesday, June 17 and Monday, June 22 were lost and need to be reentered. The data rollback was a success on Monday, June 22 and users are clear to book and make edits again the EMS Scheduling system.
