Service Description
Blackboard

Overview

  • The Blackboard service is the course management system for most UO courses, and includes the production application servers accessible at https://blackboard.uoregon.edu, file and database servers, and interfaces to Banner and radius authentication. Please report problems or errors in server status information to courseinfo@blackboard.uoregon.edu.


Criteria for updating the service status:

  • Accessibility of the blackboard home page and login page at https://blackboard.uoregon.edu, plus operational status of application, database, and file servers (checked automatically every 5 minutes) - The ability for users to log in and perform actions in the system (verified manually as needed)


*** The contents of this status page are updated and monitored according to the following schedule:
Monday - Thursday from 7:30 AM until 9:00 PM
Friday from 7:30 AM until Midnight
Saturday - Sunday from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM
 
To notify the Computing Center operations staff of service issues please call 346-4382.
